Gary McCoy

District 8 Supervisor

Abundant SF is proud to endorse Gary McCoy for District 8 Supervisor. Gary's record of supporting more housing, robust transit, and vibrant open space makes him an ideal abundant candidate. Gary has been a longtime District 8 resident, active in the LGBTQ and recovery communities. He is the past president of both Alice B Toklas and Harvey Milk Dem Clubs, as well as an active member of the Castro Country Club, a sober LGBTQ community space.

Gary knows how to get things done at City Hall, having extensive experience working both inside City government and effectively as an "outside" advocate. As a former legislative aide to Scott Wiener when Wiener was a member of the Board of Supervisors, Gary knows the importance of constituent services.
