Ruth Ferguson

City College - Partial Term

Ruth was appointed by Mayor Lurie to fill the vacancy created when Alan Wong was appointed D4 Supervisor.

Ruth understands the value of City College – for her, community college helped lift her family out of poverty. She is a community college graduate who turned her associate’s degree into a Master’s in Public Policy. Her personal and professional experience have helped the City College Board of Trustees remain focused on establishing fiscal stability and strengthening its governance.
