Scott Wiener

Scott has been a national leader in the Abundance movement and one of the most impactful legislators in California for the last decade. He has led the transformation of housing policy in the state to actually get new homes built through groundbreaking pieces of legislation that have already streamlined the construction of thousands of affordable homes and challenged cities to actually build more housing. He has been at the forefront in securing transformative investments in public transit – including the efforts this fall to save BART and Muni. His work to advance clean energy solutions and strengthen climate policy have helped California in its progress towards meeting its climate goals.

He has been a consistent champion for parks, families, bike and pedestrian safety, and community investments. He helped lead the fight for new public spaces like JFK Promenade and Sunset Dunes, which are transforming San Francisco for the better.

In Congress, Scott would continue the legacy of San Francisco leaders being national powerhouses that deliver for our City and drive the decision-making in Washington. We need him in Congress.
