Stephen Sherrill
District 2 Supervisor
Stephen supported San Francisco’s Family Zoning Plan and supports making it easier to build housing in San Francisco by cutting costs and building near transit. He has cut red tape for small businesses in his District and brings an outcomes-oriented focus to his work at City Hall. He is a strong supporter of public transit, including backing both the regional and local transportation measures heading to the ballot in San Francisco this fall, and is prioritizing making streets safer in his district.
Stephen embodies Abundance by constantly seeking ways to increase accountability and effectiveness in how government operates, and he brings a data-driven focus to tracking outcomes and measuring results.
Stephen currently represents District 2 on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors. Before joining the Board, Stephen served as Director of San Francisco’s Mayor’s Office of Innovation and as a senior policy advisor to New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
