Transforming public spacesTransformingpublic spaces

We turn streets and underused spaces into places people love.

Abundant San Francisco works to reclaim public space for families, seniors, small businesses, and neighborhood life — creating safer, greener, more vibrant places across the city.

JFK PROMENADE

We helped create a permanent car-free JFK Promenade, transforming a road cutting through a park into one of the most successful public spaces in San Francisco. Today, thousands of residents and visitors walk, bike, skate, gather, and celebrate together there every week, improving safety while expanding access to open space.

SUNSET DUNES

We spearheaded the effort to turn a four lane highway into a new coastal park space. By advancing Sunset Dunes, we helped create a community-centered waterfront that supports recreation, safety, climate resilience, and small business opportunity along the west side.
